Join the Junior League of Washington (JLW) and our fantastic speakers for an inspiring breakfast event at The Hamilton on Friday, March 6, in celebration of International Women’s Day! JLW’s Women’s Leadership Breakfast is a can’t-miss opportunity to discover techniques to personalize your leadership style and to learn from women who have successfully developed their own leadership skills in unexpected ways. Leadership and management styles aren’t one-size-fits-all. You can be firm and fair, tough and tenacious, relentless and resilient. But whatever your innate style, there’s always more to learn from those who have paved the way. Our speakers have all faced their own unique challenges on their path to leadership and have carved out lasting legacies through their work. They have inspired, empowered, ruled, challenged, and motivated people to follow.

The Junior League of Washington

The Junior League of Washington (JLW) is an organization formed by, run by, and empowered by women. We are nearly 2,300 women committed to developing the potential of women and using our collective talents, strengths, and voices to improve the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. When JLW was founded in 1914, a small, inspired group of women united to address serious social issues impacting our greater Washington, DC, community, beginning with a focus on children’s welfare. Since then, thousands of JLW volunteers have devoted themselves to our community while developing their own leadership and volunteer skills and forging valuable friendships with fellow JLW members.
